IPCA welcomes master’s students with a round table on “The Job Market in Times of Change”

The Polytechnic of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) is organizing an opening session of the Master's and Professional Master's courses, taking place at the Academic Tent, on the IPCA Campus, in Barcelos, on October 21st, at 10 am.

The session will feature a welcome intervention from the President of IPCA, Maria José Fernandes, and the Pro-President for Research and Innovation, João Vilaça, who will make a presentation on these areas at IPCA, as well as existing opportunities for students master’s degree.

In addition to the institutional reception, there will be a round table dedicated to the theme: “The Labor Market in Times of Change”, with the participation of Manuel Carvalho da Silva (CoLabor researcher and former union leader), Ângela Brandão (Corportate Business Director of Primavera/Cegid Group), Graça Coelho (CEO of Cachapuz Bilanciai Group) and João Cerejeira (Teacher and Researcher at the University of Minho). Moderation will be in charge of Paulo Monteiro (Director of Jornal Correio do Minho).

The session aims to analyze the state of the art of the current job market, as well as listen, based on the experience of the business and industrial environment, to ideas for the future.
