Workshop on: “BPMN notation in the context of public services: BUOnline by CM Barcelos” at EST

On October 23rd, at 4pm, IPCA's School of Technology will hold a workshop on "BPMN notation in the context of public services: BUOnline by Barcelos City Council".

The training, which will take place in the Eng. António Tavares auditorium on the IPCA Campus, will be led by Cândido Mariz and Márcio Dias, from the Information Systems and Administrative Modernization Division of Barcelos City Council.

In 2014, the Municipality of Barcelos adopted the BPMN 2.0 notation (Business Process Model and Notation), in accordance with the national digital interoperability regulation, to model and re-engineer its internal quality process procedures. Later, it adopted ProcessMaker as a platform to support the Balcão Único Online (BUO), which enables the modeling and support for the execution of BUO processes.

Cândido Mariz and Márcio Dias belong to the Information Systems and Administrative Modernization Division of Barcelos City Council. Cândido Mariz has a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Minho and a specialization in Computer Systems Design from IPCA. He has worked at CMB since 1994, collaborating with EST as a guest lecturer. Márcio Dias is a Senior Professional Network and Computer Security Technician at IPCA, where he is completing his degree in Computer Systems Engineering. He joined CMB in 2006.

The workshop is free to attend, with registration required for certificates to be issued, via the following link: https://forms.gle/TyRNRVYUuFHQcbK86.
